If you are still at the stage in life where you need to have constant distraction and partying, this is not the campus for you. This is a quiet campus for people looking to take their education serious and who prefer small class sizes. It’s not hard to find a quiet place to study or to do research. Parking is close to the campus which is great.

I transferred from the Tempe campus, here are my thoughts:Pros- Easy to park- Close proximity - Friendly people- Smaller class sizes- Gym is nice and almost never crowded- Plenty of resources for academic success Cons- Not nearly as much action as Tempe- Limited dining options- Not a "fun" campus (wouldn't live here)

While a lot of people compare poly to tempe and say outright poly is bad, poly has it's highlights. The fact it is a smaller campus means its more quiet and more safe. I have never seen a homless person anywhere near poly for one. Secondly, because it's quiet the gym can be dead which is nice, and honestly a good campus for people who like quiet

Pretty quiet campus. If you're looking for a chill college experience, the ASU Mesa campus is for you. Not much to do around here. If you want a more exciting "typical" college experience, try the ASU Tempe campus.

I love this campus. It is beautiful and really chill. If you want more excitement, they offer free shuttles to the main campus in Tempe that leave every 15 minutes or so. The shuttles are big busses that you see football teams using. They are super comfortable and have fast internet on them.

Quiet, beautiful, and lots of academic opportunities. Within quick reach of other "big university" activities available in Tempe, but this campus really excels in feeling like you are not congested. Lots of open space and areas to study. There are tons of opportunities both social and academic, you just need to make the effort to get involved.

I tried the GIT program for a semester and summer semester last year during spring 2021, and well... at least for the GIT program, the professors are god awful. Although the engineering program looks great, overall, the polytech campus was bad compared to Tempe campus. I highly suggest you look for another school if you want GIT related program.

I'm very disappointed in the quality of the online software engineering program. For most of my courses, professors did not get around to posting office hours or their email address-- syllabi usually not filled out . My professors felt non-existent and I was teaching myself content through youtube. It has been a waste of my money and time.

This campus is amazing, however the software engineering teachers need some serious training in teaching students. They give lecture on basic information then proceed to give assignments that are extremely difficult to do. I've spent most of my time educating myself using YouTube and Google. Do not waste money here.

I really enjoyed this college campus ! ASU was my dream school since middle school and I absolutely loved it here. This campus is super quiet and super tech-y. Everyone knew what needed to be done and I felt like this was the perfect campus for myself! I loved dorming here as well.

Great campus! Everyone is super nice and friendly. Definitely not like Tempe, but overall, it's a great campus where things are applied and not theoretical (like Tempe)

I really enjoyed poly campus. Transferred from a larger university and it was just what I needed. Some profs are better than others, but the ones I had in the wildlife department care and make a point to get you out in the field. I'm going to miss it here. It's a shame my last year had to be online, because the campus is gorgeous.

Compared to Tempe campus, this school felt a lot worse. It was more of the teachers than the campus itself, though teachers are what makes the campus. The classes I had this semester made me feel like I was learning nothing and they are tough graders with little to no explanations on why while most are biased grading. Food was very repetitive

Campus is absolutely beautiful and perfect if you're looking for a smaller community. Really easy to make friends in the tight nit community and get to know your Professors. I do wish a few of the facilities were more updated but other than that no complaints.

If you like the feeling of small towns, then the Poly campus will suit you just fine. Everyone knows everyone. If you are a transfer student I suggest Tempe because you are more likely to make friends. The poly campus feels like an over-glorified high school setting. HS Students disguised as adults. Tempe was loud but at least people were nicer.

This campus is a small community campus. Its not like the busy city campus like Tempe. Its more laid back. But still has lot of resources and people to connect with.

Networking opportunities here are outstanding. I'm in my late '40's and returning to grad school, so the bulk of the student population here seems young, sheltered, and naive to me. Don't really spend much time here since I live in downtown Phx. Nice campus, but far away from just about everything. Thank god for the shuttles.

Has the feel of a small-town campus but with the infrastructure of a major university. Has a Starbucks - cold brew :) I can get from Central Phoenix to Poly without a car. 1 city bus > quick light rail ride > campus shuttle. (FYI - as a returning to college adult learner my perspective is drastically different from my classmates)
